When I was working in NYC in 2006 – these Halal carts changed the meaning of grabbing a quick lunch FOREVER. They attracted long lines that went quick and who were in these lines? business men and women, lawyers, construction workers, students, police force, fire dept, tourists, etc. And these lines brought people of all nations and status together over one ethnic food that didn’t cost more than $6. They made a difference in NYC.
